De Groene Kring West is a platform for circular and social initiatives in Amsterdam-West. Last summer, they converted a second-hand cargo bike into a modular Groene Kring Cargo Bike. On September 21, De Groene Kring West will celebrate its first anniversary with a cargo bike party. They will do so together with all kinds of initiatives that are committed to a green and social neighborhood and that—where possible—will come to the square by cargo bike to present themselves. This will create a circular mini-neighborhood festival where everything is free. The Repair Café will of course also be there. Our repairers will not be bringing cargo bikes, but will of course be coming in an environmentally conscious manner by bicycle or public transport. They will be ready to repair your broken items and thus help prevent waste. Do you have a toaster, old tape recorder, lamp, vacuum cleaner, or other device that no longer works?
